His AI/ML work encompasses both modern AI technologies and established ML methodologies. He has been teaching applied ML/AI for finance at Northeastern University for 4 years. Karthik has over 7 years of fintech and compliance experience in an education lending fintech where he was founder and CEO. The company raised over $50 Million and deployed $20 Million in capital in consumer loans in partnership with a nationally chartered bank and was one of the few for-profit registered CDFIs (community development financial institution) with the US Treasury Department.
